Swiss start-up company Flisom has created a thin-film Solar panel that will cut the cost from $4 per watt to just $1 per watt within a decade making Solar power a viable option to many home owners!

Granted, the $1/Watt cost does not include installation, Inverters and storage but it is still a great step in making off-grid power a viable option.

Running on Water

2 06 2006

This could be the invention of the century…

Replacing fossil fuels with ordinary water is the holy grail of energy production and it finally seems like it has become a reality.

Denny Klein has invented a electrolysis method said to be 99% efficient at deriving hydrogen from water, producing a flame that is warm to the touch but becomes hotter than the surface of sun when it comes in contact with metals and carbon.

The Oil Barons will not be too please about this.
