Well, I drank the cool aid.
This weekend I became the proud new owner of a bouncing baby iPhone.
With the Canadian dollar at par, the recent price drop by Apple and successful unlocking hacks to allow it work on Rogers GSM network I figured it would be a nice way to end my year long binge on Apple products.
Unlocking took about an hour from start to finish and the phone works surprisingly well on Rogers!
I won’t hold my breath for Rogers to announce the iPhone in Canada since that would mean that they would have to submit to Apple’s demands for unlimited data plans, no carrier branding and not to mention a big slice of subscriber revenues…
The Woz, O’ holy father of the personal computer may have just kernel panicked for the rest of us! He is reportedly dating D-Lister Kathy Griffin…

Last weekend my shiny new iPod shuffle went through a full wash cycle and a tumble in the dryer afterwards. Surely it was dead I thought, but I soon found out from others who suffered a similar traumatic incedent all the little shuffle needed was five days drying time (head phone jack up) to let the deadly moisture escape and presto, it came back to life and sounded just as good as the day Tabatha bought it for me!
Moral of the story: Check your pockets before you toss your clothes in the hamper!
Your Mac shipped from the factory with a plethora of language files that you will probably never ever use. Run* Monolingual and free up some valuable disk space by removing those unnecessary language resources.

Joost (formerly the Venice Project) has just released a Beta version of its client for Mac OS X.
Mac Intel users, rejoice! Joost for Mac Intel is now available in beta version. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it. With the help of a handful of great people, we were able to leverage both the tremendous work done by the Client team for the Windows version as well as the cross-platform power of Mozilla. As a result, we have a Mac version that looks very much like Joost for Windows, while behaving very much like a Mac application.

Got Mac Book? Why not set your MB apart from everyone elses?
icolour.caoffers really affordable custom colour gel inserts that are waaay groovy!
Update: Fuzzz thinks these inserts are a bad idea, he has experience taking the MB screen apart and it’s not an easy task. It probably will also void your warranty!
