The holy grail of TV is right around the corner.

Phillips is set to introduce a 42-inch LCD TV that dispalys 3-D TV without the need for dorky glasses.

I entered a conference room in Manhattan and a woman on the TV tossed a handful of rose petals out of the screen, where they floated in the air before my eyes.

At least, that’s what I saw. In truth, the image resided on a perfectly flat, 42-inch LCD screen. But the 3-D illusion was fully believable, and I didn’t have to wear a dorky set of polarizing glasses.

USB Nail Gunner Shoots Actual Nails

Last December I mentioned that all I wanted for the holidays was the USB contolled-air-powerd foam missile launcher.

This year, all I want is a USB-air-powered NAIL Gunner! Yes, REAL NAILS!

Once installed it kicks in when your screensaver turns on. It tracks movements in a 360 degrees angle. The nail gun is guided automatically and fires a round of 6 2″ household nails when objects are within a 2 meter range. Hence the
nickname iKill. Tests have shown a 85% hit count.

How can you possibly top this for personal desktop defense?
